santa claus is coming

hes not far away and I am sort of ready but mostly not. Shopping is done (minus the cubby house that is on order but will unfortunately not be the hit of the day as I imagined it to be.. but I suppose thats what happens when you can't decide to make or buy and leave it til the very last minute to place an order!) Lucy had her last day at childcare last week...she seems bigger already. going to miss her next year (although I won't miss the fees! LOL!)..Jack is getting into the christmas spirit and dragging me along with him. I love that he loves christmas this year (so much more than last year!) .....although all this festivity can take its toll... I know exactly how he feels..although my opportunities for a catnap on the couch are very limited...

I should get to bed,..I have rambled on enough. nite.

oh dear..

its been a while. ok..heres my catch up for my own benefit really..LOL! I have spent 5 days in melbourne with my good friend Brigette. We stayed with my folks, ate, chatted, relaxed and had a great time ..and the highlight of course was we went with my mum to Heidi swapps event..so much FUN! we learnt heaps and came away very inspired. Apart from a LONG trip home with delays at the airport, it was a great trip. www.mariannepollock.typepad.com

I have seen my specialist and I will have an operation earlyish in the new year..still have to work out what is best and less impactful for both my family and my business with the long recovery time. 

I am on the home stretch with photoshoots. I still have 4 this weekend but they are reschedules from the dreadful wet weather we have had every weekend for the last 4 weeks. I had 3 sessions scheduled in melbourne too and I only got to do 1 because of the weather..I am considering offering myself out as a drought breaker. Funnily enough I have been invited to Moree in feb to teach my photography workshop by the lovely   marianne  ..so if you live in moree and need rain, just schedule a session with me while I am there..LOL! very excited about going ..and very thrilled to be invited!!

I have actually scrapped this week too..although they are very basic...for the DT upload at shop and crop this week..the theme was all I want for christmas. Heres my 2 layouts. 

I think thats it..my life seemed more hectic in my mind but "on paper" it doesn't seem so bad..maybe I just need more sleep! LOL! 

anyway,..i should get back to my proofing..

I still don't have a tree up. I have no lights on my house . I am not really feeling the christmas spirit. I am hoping to festive up my house this weekend and fast track the sense of christmas joy and fun. At least this year I don't have to feed anyone because right now they would be having a frozen pizza..LOL!  

oh dear

its been a while..oops! I have been VERY busy with photoshoots, christmas parties, birthday parties  plus I have even had a little trip to the hospital. Turns out I have a condition caled Adenomyosis, which is like endometriosis but instead its inside the uterus. "that time of the month" is hard work, and getting harder. I get dizzy and weak and other stuff you probably don't want to hear about. So last night the doctor admitted me to hospital for a look see and it looks like after christmas I will have another trip back to the hospital..oh well, its served its purpoose i suppose!
anyway, moving right along away from the "too much information" location,...
I am teaching my kits class, celebrate life, here tomorrow night and I have one spot left if there is anyone in wollongong interested in coming along. I Haven't got any scrapping to share as I have been strapped to the computer for the last 3 weeks solid it feels like..LOL! I cannot wait til this weekend when I head off to melbourne to go to Heidi Swapp and for a long weekend with Brig...woohooo!! I have a 4.30pm mini session at Fitzroy gardens on sunday 14th is anyone is interested, let me know..
enough plugs..I really should go to bed. Just wanted to check in to say I am alive and relatively well...I'll be back again soon...

my baby girl is five

and I am feeling a bit nostalgic..sigh. where has 5 years gone??? sigh. 

She has had a sensational day being spoiled at grandmas, dinner with family and friends, staying up late to see some christmas lights and to top it off, she lost her 2nd tooth. sigh. 

The highlight of the day was Lucys first words to me this morning…”hey mum, I am FIVE…finally!” Totally cracked me up..who knew being 4 was such a hardship. 

I love you to the moon and back Lucy-goosey. You are the sparkle in my eye and the song in my heart. Happy birthday chicken cherry pie. Heres to 5 being the best year ever!! xxxx
